I cannot sleep at night cause i’m a gamer and I play games at night but I
want to actually get sleep at night. Any advice for a rookie like myself? I
used to take benedryl and refuse to take it again cause I hate medication.
What does warm milk do? Does it really work and is it safe? I’m nervous?

I’m allergic to milk which isn’t the same as being lactose intolerant. So I
guess ill just have to suffer with insomnia the rest of my life. Great.
I’ve tried so many things to get to sleep, but most nights I can’t. I hope
my health does not fail in ways you mentioned.?

Grandma’s milk was raw, not heat processed that binds the molecules
together and nothing can absorb…which is probably good due to all the
nasties that are now in cows milk. Not to mention the fat and protein that
will elevate my uric acid. What about valerian, skullcap, lobelia,
chamomile? Seems those are the path for me. I thought Dr D would actually
have healthy alternative health tips, but this is about the 3rd one that
dont resonate with me, am unsubbing.

StarFlower99654, I think at least some in ayurveda are very cautious about
valerian and even do not recommend it unless under supervision (or
knowledge of it’s dosage, frequency, and effects). More commonly used is a
non-sedative relative, nardostachys jatamansi. That’s probably hard to find
but a relative, nardostachys chinensis can be found at any chinese herbal
    shop.

Yes, you can buy them in a health food store. The best milk is whole raw or
    vat pasteurized milk.

Whole milk? Raw milk maybe… Are these peptides found in supplements? Has
    anyone isolated them?

btw, a better milk would be horse and donkey. Even classical ayurvedic
texts would recommend, though few would say it today, woman’s milk.
